Rebecca Ackaert (1998) is a Belgian interior architect and designer. 

A continuous search for nuance leads her to shaping objects that carry a subtle tension.

Resonating strongly with the juxtaposition of craft and industry, each object is a dialogue of intuïtion and precision.

Inspired by the art of Japanese joinery, her first collection is a play between delicacy and brutalism. By using the natural properties of the material - instead of additive welding or the use of bolts - Rebecca approaches the rational industry of steel with a soft tone.
